Vardar or Steaua will face Dinamo Tbilisi or EB/Streymur, Turnovo or Hajduk will play against Dila or Aalborg.

Vardar’s chances for advancing in the 3rd qualifying round of the Champions Legaue are 1% as they lost 3:0 away to Steaua in a match in which Vardar was totaly outplayed. But still the Macedonian champion was part of todays draw. The winner of the clash, which most probably will be Steaua, will play against the winner of the clash between Georgian champions Dinamo Tbilisi and the champions of the Faroe Islands, EB/Streymur. The Georgians won the first leg with 6:1, so we can already proclaim that the tie will be Steaua vs. Dinamo Tbilisi.

It’s a different story in the Europa League. Yesterday Turnovo lost away to Hajduk, but with an active result of 2:1 and an important away goal. The winner of the clash will be decided in the return leg in Skopje. The one that will advance in the next round will face the winner of the clash between another Georgian side Dila and Aalborg from Denmark. The Danes surprisingly lost 3:0in the first leg.

The Europa League 3rd qualifications round matches will be played on 1 August with the return leg on 8 August. The same phase of the Champions League is scheduled for 30/31 July and 6/7 August.
