-3 for Shkendija, 6 ’empty’ matches for Teteks

FFM has finally brought a decision for the interrupted match between Teteks and Shkendija from Round 18.

The disciplinary committee has finally brought a decision for the interrupted match between Teteks and Shkendija. As a reminder, the match was played on 9th of December, as part of the 18th round of the First League. Shkendija, protesting after Teteks’ goal in 86th minute which gave them a 1:0 lead, left the pitch and the match was not completed.

Today, FFM decided to take away 3 points from Shkendija for their behavior and at the same time serve Teteks a ban for their upcoming 6 home matches. Teteks will have to play in front of empty stadium because of the bad organization of the match – namely, because some of their fans entered the pitch celebrating their team’s goal. Furthermore, Shkendija have received a 2.500 Euros fine, while Teteks have been fined 4.500.

Shkendija will now have 26 points, instead of 29, meaning they will be 12 points behind Vardar, 9 behind Horizont Turnovo and 5 behind Metalurg and Napredok.
