The last half-season round brought another humiliating defeat for Tikvesh, another home disappointment for Vardar, Akademija Pandev escaping on +11, while Skopje grabbed the second position.
Leaders Akademija Pandev welcomed second-placed Gorno Lisiche in Strumica. The match was full with tension ending with 10 yellow cards being awarded, 6 for the home players and 4 for the visitors. A lone goal scored early in the 13th minute by Sashko Pandev decided the winner. Gorno Lisiche with this defeat lost the second place that guaranties direct promotion as they dropped to third, while the leaders have now 11 points more then their closest rivals Skopje.
Skopje climbed to second place thanks to a 2:0 home win over Vlazrimi 77. The winner was decided in the opening 15 minutes when Skopje scored twice.
Novaci hosted relegation candidates Teteks in a must win game for them in order to get back in the promotion battle. Former Pelister and Shkendija player Ilir Elmazovski scored after half an hour of play, a goal that proved to be enough for the points. Novaci is now forth, but is levelled on points with Gorno Lisiche and is only a point away from second-placed Skopje.
Negotino once again was left disappointed as their beloved Vardar failed to win against Turnovo. A goalless draw left the visitors satisfied, while Vardar hasn’t won at home from the 24th of September.
Dead last Tikvesh suffered another humiliation, this time by Metalurg. The red card for goalkeeper Angel Genov after just 5 minutes of play made a nightmare start for Tikvesh who at the end lost with 5:1.
With this round ended the first half-season in the Macedonian second league. The teams will get back in action with the Round 15 on February 25.
