26th round: Rabotnichki wins, Vardar held to draw

In the first two games of the round played on Saturday, Rabotnichki got an important win over Renova while Vardar and Teteks shared the points in Tetovo.

Rabotnichki, aiming for a fourth place finish, defeated the current fourth placed team Renova 3:1 to narrow the gap between them and Renova to just five points, while Vardar was held to a goalless draw and has now only scored one goal in three meeting with Teteks this season.

Rabotnichki opened the scoring through captain Borche Manevski in the middle of the first half and that would be the score going into halftime. In the 59th minute, Renova tied the game at 1:1 with former Rabotnichki striker Marjan Andonov scoring the equalizer after a mistake by the home defense. Boško Stupić, who substituted Manevski, put Rabotnichki ahead in the 72nd minute before youngster Viktor Angelov, another substitute, completed the scoreline in the 77th minute with a beautiful goal.
