Three games were played today as part of Round 23, in which Vardar defeated Brelanica Shtip, Rabotnicki was held to a point against last placed 11 Oktomvri, while Teteks and Renova played a goalless draw.
With a late goal by striker Filip Ivanovski, Vardar got past Bregalnica from Shtip to win 2:1. Vardar initially took the lead in the 22nd minute from a penalty but then Bregalnica scored the equalizer in the 82nd minute. The game seemed headed for a draw but Vardar captain Filip Ivanovski had other ideas and gifted Vardar the win with a late goal.
Rabotnichki only settled for a 1:1 draw at home against the worst team in the league in 11 Oktomvri. Meanwhile, in Tetovo, Teteks and Renova played a goalless draw after their match from a couple of days ago ended in a 5:1 win for Renova. In today’s game, Teteks even played with 10 players since the 52nd minute when Borche Ristovski was shown the red card but managed to not concede a goal against Renova. The three remaining games of the first league will be played tomorrow.
