The 33rd season in the Macedonian top flight is about to kick-off the second weekend of August as FFM made the draw and completed the fixtures.

The format stays same as last season: 12 clubs to compete with Besa 1976 and Pelister coming from the 2.MFL. Besa 1976 is debutante. The bottom two will be relegated with the 10th-placed entering a play-off against the 2.MFL 3rd-placed team. The winner will represent Macedonia in the UEFA Champions League qualifiers, while the runner-up in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers joined by the Cup winner.
The pairs for the opening round are:
Struga vs. Tikvesh
Besa 1976 vs. Shkendija
Rabotnichki vs. Sileks
Brera Strumica vs. Vardar
Pelister vs. Gostivar
Shkupi vs. Voska Sport
The Derby of Macedonia between Vardar and Pelister comes right in the 2nd round in Skopje, while the return in Bitola will be played in Round 13 in early November.
The Old Derby of Skopje dating back to 1947 featuring Rabotnichki and Vardar is scheduled for 27 October in Round 11 and on 5 March in Round 22.
The schedule was made for the first and second part of the season (rounds 1-22) with the final part schedule to be made after the conclusion on Round 22 as the matches are based on the standings.
Vardar gets back at the National Arena Todor Proeski that it will share it with Rabotnichki. Besa 1976 will play its home matches at the Gradski stadium in Gostivar, but won’t collide with Gostivar who decided to move to Boris Trajkovski in Skopje and even told FFM that some matches may host in the city of Shtip. Besa’s field in Dobri Dol is in poor shape, so even in the 2.MFL they didn’t play there but mostly at nearby village of Vrapchishte.
