The Macedonian top flight finished the season 2023/24 with Shkendija winning the battle over Shkupi for the lone league sport that leads into the Conference League qualifications this summer.

Shkendija celebrated away to Rabotnichki in Skopje and kept the runners-up position, therefore securing an European summer. The Tetovo based club and former 5 times champions will compete from the first qualifying round in the UEFA Conference league. Rabotnichki needed a win to climb to the excellent 4th place, but with this outcome ended on the disappointing 8th place.
Shkupi recorded a Pyrrhic 2:1 win at champions Struga and stayed on the third place, which means that the capital city side will not be playing in Europe this summer. It is a huge disappointment for this club who ends a 6-year run of playing in Europe.
It is worth noticing that Tikvesh ended up 4th, an absolute record for the team from Kavadarci whose previous best finish was 6th place last season. Tikvesh has featured 16 season in the Macedonian top flight since the independence.
From this season Macedonia lost one place in Europe thanks to the bad results our clubs were achieving in the international matches. Macedonian used to have 1 place in the Champions League qualifiers and 3 in the Europa Conference League qualifiers, but from now on in that the second competitions there will be 2. One spot is reserved for the cup winners, which this season will go to Tikvesh or Voska Sport (the final is on Wednesday).

As it was previously known, Bregalnica and Makedonija GjP got relegated, while Vardar will enter the play-out against second division third-placed Detonit Plachkovica.
Top goalscorer for this season is Montenegrin striker Aleksa Marušić who managed to score 17 goals for debutantes Voska Sport. He played his first season in Macedonia and he managed to feature in 32 out of the 33 matches in the top flight, missing one only for yellow cards suspension.
