The 85th Old Derby of Skopje was unusually played in the neighborhood of Madjari as Vardar plays its home matches at the Boris Trajkovski stadium this season. That is due to the financial problems that hit Vardar who cant afford to rent the Philip II Arena anymore.
No goals were scored in the opening half. Vardar had the best chance in the 37th minute when Dimitrovski cleared the ball from the goal-line after Bozhinoski saved Brdarovski’s shot.
Rabotnichki broke the dead lock through Peev in the 57th minute after Bopesu found him in the box. That goal happened to be the winner as the Club Hero managed to successfully defend its goal until the final whistle.
In the head-to-head matches Rabotnicki recorded the 32nd win and now has only one less then Vardar who stays at 33. Both have also played 20 draws. This record is for all official matches in all competitions since their first encounter in 1951

Home keeper Vujanac collected the ball in air, but while going down he hit one of his players, the ball escaped his hands and Mishkovski had no problems putting it into the net.
At the end Belasica took the points. The same player that scored the equalizer committed a penalty foul and got a direct red card, while Baldovaliev was precise from the spot. In the injury time Gorgiev just confirmed the points.

Five minutes later the visiting side turned around the result as U19 national team player Suhejlj scored a lob goal.
