1.MFL Power Rankings 17/18

Take a look at our comparison of the form of all first league participants over the last 6 rounds played after the winter break.

The Power Rankings table is totally different than the real one mostly because of Skopje’s great form and the underperforming of Akademija Pandev, Rabotnichki and Sileks.

Keep in mind that Sileks and Pelister have a game less since their Round 21 encounter was postponed. Also, we have included the Macedonian Cup quarter-final ties between Vardar and Shkendija as well as the first leg of the semis (Shkendija – Renova and Pelister – Akademija Pandev).

Rank CHG Teams RCRD
1 Shkendija 6-3-0 Leaders Shkendija continued the great for from the first half-season clinching wins with only one draw, the derby against Vardar.
2 2-4-0 Definitely the current season surprise is Skopje. Undefeated after the winter break, they are still bottom-placed but got back in the fight for avoiding relegation.
3 Pelister 2-3-1 Pelister’s new squad is still looking for their best form. Won some unexpected points, but also failed to win when everyone counted on it.
4 Vardar 2-3-3 Vardar fielded a youth team twice and that affected their results. But even their best team lost against Rabotnichki and failed to beat Skopje.
5 Renova 1-5-1 The Gypsims became draw specialists with their strong back line, but their front line still seems to be on a winter break.
6 Shkupi 1-3-2 A true hot and cold form for the Pigeons. Wins, draws, defeats, even a managed change. Big problem was that they couldn’t use their stadium.
6 Pobeda 1-3-2 Same like the above. They also changed the manager and played as hosts on various grounds, but not their own.
8 Sileks 1-2-2 Despite still holding the third position, the Kratovo based team mostly disappointed in the past rounds.
9 Rabotnichki 1-2-3 Rabotnichki is heavily underperforming. They did defeated local rivals Vardar, but aside from that all other results were disappointment.
10 0-4-3 Proclaimed as the season surprise by everyone, newly promoted Akademija Pandev is now a totally unrecognizable team.
