With two hat-tricks Sileks gave Vardar  a humiliating defeat. Back in the 90s, this match was a big derby between two title contenders, but now it was an avoiding relegation battle with the hosts coming out victorious. With the hat-tricks of Ristov and Gorgiev, Sileks got out of the relegation zone and put Vardar instead.

In the match that on Saturday opened this round Rabotnichki celebrated a convincing win over Pelister despite the visitors being better in play in the opening twenty minutes. Home coach Aleksandar Vlaho surprised everyone by benching Nikola Prenčec and putting Mario Stankovski instead, and also he changes the back line fielding three CBs instead the usual two. In the 71st minute home keeper Risto Jankov saved a penalty to Gjorgji Tanushev, but the referee decided that it should be retaken. And Jankov against saved it.
