Sileks was the better side in the encounter against Struga and they pulled a minimal but well deserved 1:0 victory through the lone goal by Ivan Ivanovski. The same player was very close to opening the score already in the 17th minute but Struga got away with a lucky save. Later on Sileks was also awarded a penalty, but Darko Dodev failed to convert it into a lead. However, in the 64th minute Ivanovski didn’t miss in his second good attempt and scored his second goal of the season to bring Sileks important 3 points.

In a game with four goals, Renova missed out an opportunity to celebrate a victory after conceding a goal through substitute Fatjon Jusufi in the last moments of the game. Renova took the lead twice and had the game in their hands throughout the biggest part of the match but in the end they had to settle with just one point, which has made them drop down to the relegation zone.

Borec continued their series of undefeated games on their home stadium in Veles, this time against leaders Akademija Pandev who have now dropped to the second position after this loss. The goal was scored by Borec’s best player this season – Croatian international Nikola Prelčec who has so far gathered 5 goals this season. To make matters worse for Akademija Pandev, not only did they lost the match but they also lost their two key players Ljupcho Doriev and Gjorgi Stoilov (both of them also currently being players of the National Team). The severity of the injuries is yet to be known after upcoming medical tests, but it seems that Doriev and Stoilov will have to be sidelined for a certain period and Pandev’s academy will have to continue their title fight without their two best players.
