Born in the city of Veles 18 years ago, Enis already impressed while playing on senior level in the Macedonian top flight. This past season he featured in 16 league games for Shkendija in which he managed to score twice and assist three times. He made his senior debut at the age of 16 in September 2016 on a home win against Makedonija GjP.
Fazlagikj started his career in the football club Skopje from the Macedonian capital, but moved to Shkendija in the summer of 2015. Now he continues in Slovakia in the team of Žilina for whom he signed a contract until the end of the year 2022. The yellow-green team ended up 4th last season but failed to earn a spot in the Europa League qualifications after losing a domestic play-off match.
“We were interested in Enis the past winter, but things were complicated because he was still a minor as he compiled 18 later in March. That’s why we got activated again now. He is a very talented midfielder who has played for all youth Macedonian national teams. We have scouted him for a while, our manager Jaroslav Kentoš even went to watch him live in the Macedonian cup final. Despite being very young, he has often played for his club so we are glad to have him. We have expectations, but having in mind his age and the fact that he comes in a new environment, we will have patience. We believe that Enis will be a great asset for our future.” – were the words of the club’s sports director Karol Belaník.
Enis immediately joined his hew teammates in Slovenia where Žilina is having the preparations for the new season.
“I’m happy to be with the team and I can prepare for new challenges. I see Žilina as an ambitious club where I can get a chance despite the young age. That’s why I decided to come here. I believe that I will help the club in its ambitions and at the same time I will advance and play regularly. If Žilina is successful then I can will be successful as well.” – were the first words of Enis as a Žilina player.
