Despite being out with a serious knee injury, Domžale rewarded Zeni Husmani with a contract extension.

The 24-year-old Zeni Husmani suffered a torn ACL earlier in the season. Despite that, Domžale felt confident enough to announce an extension with Husmani until the end of the 2016-17 season. Husmani is making good progress in his recovery as he’s already beginning to walk without crutches.

In an article announcing the extension, Domžale praised Husmani’s fighting spirit and character. They expect him to return to action sometime during the 2nd half of the season in Slovenia. Domžale currently sits at the top of the table, having three more points than second placed Maribor.
