Macedonia U19 will face Italy, Libya and Tunisia in Group B at the XVII Mediterranean Games this June in Turkey.

Today the draw took place in the turkish coast city of Mersin, host of the 12th edition of the Mediterranean Games. It is important that Macedonian will make its debut and therefore participated in today’s draw. It’s disappointing that only 8 teams entered the football tournament, anong them isn’t Spain, who were champions at the last two editions.

The Macedonian U19 national team was drawn in the second group along the U19 national teams of Italy, Libya and Tunisia, while in the other group besides the hosts are Marocco, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Albania. The draw was made by Abdullah Avcı, current national team coach of the Turkish senior national team.

The football tournament will begin on 19 June and will end with the final on 27 June at the Terfik Siri Gür stadium.
