Macedonia celebrated away to Kazakhstan to finish the EURO 2022 qualifiers with two wins out of eight matches, enough for 4th place in the group.

Macedonian women’s national team earlier today defeated Kazakhstan on the road with 3:0 in their last qualifying match. It was only the second win with the previous being also against this opponent, 4:1 in Skopje a year ago.
All three goals were scored in the opening 45 minutes with Gentjana Rochi scoring a brace, both after great assists by Natasha Andonova, while the third goal was netted by Elma Shemsovikj.

These qualifiers Macedonia recorded some bad results including a humiliating 11:0 defeat by powerhouse France.
