With the triumph in the Cup final, Kochani managed to win the double this season.

The team that bears the name of its town located in the eastern part of Macedonia, brought another joy to its citizens who are well known football fans. When their men’s team Osogovo is having bad results and it’s stuck in the Third League East, their girls are the ones who are winning trophies. This season they won the double, both the First League and the Cup.

After securing the league trophy, on Saturday they also won the Macedonian Cup beating Konzuli with 5:2 in the big final. The first half was tied 1:1 as Katerina Mileska brought Kochani the lead in the 22nd minute, while the girls from Bitola levelled through Lenche Andreeska only six minutes later.

In the second half Kochani started playing furiously and scored three consecutive goals through Afrodita Salihi, Violeta Spirovska and Mileska who scored her second. Konzuli’s Andreeska also scored a brace, but her team wasn’t capable to get back in game and eventually let another with Spirovska also joining the brace club.
