Macedonia was better side in Chișinău and managed to secure the second win in group C2 qualifiers for EURO2025.

Only two minutes into the match, Maksuti took a corner kick and bad reaction from the defender Bădiceanu results with an own goal. The Red Lynxes continued with the domination, but in the 22nd minute Țabur equalized the result, scoring her second goal ever against Macedonia. Four minutes later, again bad decision from Bădiceanu into the box, she made a foul against Maksuti and the referee showed to the penalty spot. Captain Andonova took the penaty and increase the lead. Two minutes before half time, Maksuti assisted from a corner to Andreevska who scored with a head shot.
In the 59th minute, great play by Chiper, she managed to pass thru the Macedonian defenders and assist to Colnic for the second goal for Moldova. Final result was set in the 75th minute, after a free kick from a good position for Andonova who scored a beautiful goal.
Unfortunately, we were unable to see Țabur’s goal for Moldova and the penalty kick from Andonova due to broadcast link failure.
Macedonia can seal the second place in the group in the next match against Latvia at home on July the 12th. In the last match, Macedonia will play away in Slovenia on July the 16th.
