W: Macedonia – Kazakhstan 4:1

After 8 and a half years our women’s national team record a victory in a qualifying match! Victim was the team of Kazakhstan who got defeated 4:1 in Skopje.

After the 3:0 road defeat by Austria in the opening round our girls celebrated a win today. And it was a first win after long drought that lasted for 8,5 years as out last victory in a match, apart from friendlies, took place in March of 2011 when we beat Latvia 1:0 in the preliminary qualifiers for the 2013 EURO.

Early in the 6th minute returnee captain Andonova broke the dead lock. Seven minutes later Rochi doubled the lead while Andonova scored her second for 3:0 in the 28th minute from the spot.

In the second half first Myasnikova brought a glimpse of hope for the visitors in the 73rd minute, but shortly after Rochi set the final score.
