Ljuboten are the winners in the Macedonian women’s cup, third time in a row.

Two big mistakes from the goalkeeper Panchurova were crucial in determining the winner in today’s cup final. Ljuboten had the ball possession and initiative thru the match. We didn’t see any scoring chances in the first half, except the direct shot from the corner kick by the Ljuboten’s captain Aleksandra Markovska who hit the post. In the 45th minute, a bad positioning of the Tiverija Brera’s defenders, brought an opportunity for Ohadive who scored an opener.
Five minutes in the second half, Panchurova didn’t controlled the ball well and Ohadive increased the lead for her team. Ohadive and Frolova missed great scoring opportunities in the continuation of the match. Eva Velichkovska set the final result of the match in the 88th minute when she lobbed the goalkeeper from twenty meters away. The best scoring chance for Tivarija Brera had Biljana Paneska in 56th minute when her shot pass near the post.
This is the fourth trophy for Ljuboten, the third in a row in the Macedonian Cup. Tiverija Brera remain with the cup title won in the 2017/18 season. They were defeated in the final twice more, in 2016/2017 and 2018/2019.
