Vuko Karov 2011 starts this weekend

Vuko Karov 2011The traditional tournament in Kavadarci will be played this weekend between the host Tikvesh, Vardar, Pelister and Donji Srem from Serbia.

Vuko Karov 2011 will be the 14th edition of this tournament and will begin on Saturday with the two semi-final games. The hosts Tikvesh will face Donji Srem from the village of Pećinci in Serbia, a team that plays in the Serbian Third League, section Vojvodina. They were two weeks in Dojran on preparations and will end their stay in Macedonia with the Vuko Karov tournament.

The second semi-final game will be between the two most famous Macedonian clubs and eternal rivals, Vardar and Pelister. Both are placed on the last two places on the First League table, but apart from Pelister, Vardar is looking better with the new players acquired in the winter transfer window.

The final and the 3rd place game will be played on Sunday. All games will be held at the Gradski stadium in Kavadarci.

Opening ceremony at 11.00 CET

Semi-finals:
A: Tikvesh – Donji Srem at 12.00 CET
B: Vardar – Pelister at 14.00 CET (or later if there is extra-time in the previous game)

Sunday
3rd place game:
Loser game A vs Loser game B at 12.00 CET

Final:
Winner game A vs Winner game B at 14.00 CET (or later if there is extra-time in the previous game)
