Belasica suffered their second defeat at the Coppa Viareggio, this time by Belgian side Club Brugge.
The Belgians opened the score early in the 8th minute with a goal by Dierckx, while five minutes before the break Gano doubled the lead. In the second half Belasica couldn’t score again and managed only to receive a third goal in the 86th minute when Verstraete converted a penalty.
For Club Brugge this was their first win after they lost the opening game against Siena, a team that Belasica will be facing on Saturday at 15.00 CET.
In the other game, Siena won the Italian clash against Atalanta with 1:0. With this score, Belasica is officially eliminated from the tournament, Siena advances, while Atalanta and Club Brugge in the last round will fight for the second position.
