Trajkov could not convince the Vardar manager during training and the club has opted not to offer Trajkov a contract.
The 21-year-old Igor Trajkov was training with Vardar over the past week with the goal of receiving a contract from the famous Macedonian club. However, Trajkov could not convince the Vardar manager Ilco Gjorgioski of his qualities so the club has decided against offering him a contract. Trajkov last played for Dutch club Oss but was not in good form and he will remain a free agent.
Trajkov was born in Strumica but moved to the Netherlands at a young age. He was considered a big talent at one point and even played for the renowned youth teams of Dutch giants Ajax but Trajkov failed to develop and has spent the past couple of years playing in the lower divisions of Netherlands. With Trajkov being a free agent, he was hoping to latch on with Vardar but he was not offered a contract after training with the club for about a week.
