Vardar signed Filip Petrov and Zlatko Boskovski

Vardar has begun signing players to improve the team with the first signings being Filip Petrov and Zlatko Boskovski.

Filip Petrov is a striker and joins the team from Serbian club Javor while Zlatko Boskovski is a left back who last played with Macedonian club Sileks.  There were rumors that Boskovski joined Romanian club Unirea Urziceni in the 2011 January transfer window but he never played in a game for them so it’s tough to confirm whether that was true.  Petrov is 22 years old and returns to Vardar as he grew up in the Vardar youth system and left the team for Javor in 2010 but he wasn’t getting consistent playing time in Serbia so he decided to return to Vardar.

Former Macedonian international Filip Ivanovski is also training with Vardar but he will only sign with Vardar if he can’t find a team from abroad.  He last played for Ethnikos Achnas in Cyprus but was released after the season.  Ivanovski is now 26 years old and had the most success during his stint with Polish club Polonia Warszawa from 2008 to 2010.
