Vardar is on the verge of signing midfielder Ostoja Stjepanović, a former member of the Macedonian youth national teams.

Ostoja Stjepanović is now 26 years old and is currently without a club after he mutually agreed to terminate his contract with former club Taraz from Kazakhstan.  However, he is close to finding a new club which is expected to be Vardar.  Stjepanović has played for Vardar in the past so he should adjust to his team pretty quickly.

Before his short stint with Taraz, Stjepanović spent two years in Austria with Mattersburg where he was a teammate of both Ilco Naumoski and Goce Sedloski.  Stjepanović formerly played for the youth national teams of Macedonia but has yet to be called up for the senior national team.
