Rebrov put 25 players in the announced list. Three more players have been put on a reserve list. The coach could not summon injured midfielder Mykola Shaparenko.
Due to the ongoing war in the country, Ukraine will host Macedonia on neutral field in the capital of Czechia, Prague. The match will be played on 14 October at the epet ARENA (home of Sparta) with a kick-off at 15.00 CET. Three days later Ukraine will travel to Malta.
