After releasing the squad list Ilievski gave the following statement revealing that he planned few more players that were prevented from coming: “Our main goal for this training camp is to give a chance to some players for whom we think that can bring a higher level of quality in the national team and make the competition bigger. Of course, in Dojran we will work to bring the team together and correct some voids in our game flow for which we don’t really have time when we are gathering before qualifying matches. We have enough players to create two teams and play maybe two matches between each other. I hope we will get many positive things out of this training camp. Because of involvement in their clubs, few players that were planned won’t join us in Dojran.”
