Blagoja Milevski, the manager of the U21 national team, made only few changes for the important qualifier against France on November 15.
Darko Velkovski (red card suspension now behind him), Petar Petkovski (promoted from the U19 national team) and Dorian Babunski (called up after he found a club late in the process) are the three returnees to the U21 squad. Meanwhile, the only player to lose his spot from last month’s roster is Hakan Redzep of Danish second division side Vejle. Redzep failed to impress the coaching staff, so he was not summoned again.
Besides those four guys, every other player called up for the qualifier against Northern Ireland in October was also included in this latest roster. There are no injury concerns, knock on wood, so Milevski will have a strong group at his disposal.
Both Macedonia and France currently have 6 points after three matchdays in Group 3. They sit in a tie for second place, trailing only Iceland (11 points but they have played two extra games).
The qualifier against France will be played on November 15 at the “Petar Miloshevski” training center.
