Goals galore in the friendly match between U21 national teams of Turkey and Macedonia.
Turkey U21 defeated Macedonia U21 in a match with 8 goals, played yesterday in Turkey. The hosts celebrated 5:3 win in the match played on Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium in Kasımpaşa.
The home team were up by 3 in the first half, after Bertul Kocabaş scored two goals in 11th and 22nd minute, and Oğuzhan Özyakup added one more in 34th minute. Macedonia pulled one back through center back Hristijan Dragarski who scored in 56th minute. However, Turkey scored their fourth goal just 7 minutes later when Engin Bekdemir was on target. David Babunski then converted a penalty in 66th minute, but the home team once again did not allow closing the gap and scored their fifth and last goal of the match in 84th minute through Oğuzhan Özyakup once again. Full back Bojan Gjorgjievski set the final score of 5:3 in the injury time.
