Youth national teams of Macedonia and Bulgaria have played a friendly match today in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. The match ended in a 1:1 draw, after both teams scored a goal in each half.

The hosts took the lead in the 31st minute when Kapitanov tried to find Kolev with a through pass, but the ball was deflected by captain Stefan Ashkovski and ended behind Dimitrievski’s back, allowing the hosts to open the scoreline through an own goal.

Macedonia equalized in the 62nd minute when central defender Stojan Stojchevski used Bulgarian keeper Iliev’s mistake when he dropped the ball to set the final score at 1:1.
