Macedonia will participate in the draw from the Pot 3 together with 5 other national teams as UEFA decided to have only three pots.
The draw for the 2017 U21 EURO is scheduled for December 1 at 18.00 CET in Krakow’s ICE Congress Centre and will be strramed live. Macedonia will find out its opponents starting from the Pot 3, which is the last one.
Hosts Poland, who belong to the Pot 1, are automatically assigned to Group A. The other two teams in the highest pot are Germany and Portugal.
First pot to be drawn is the Pot 1 and right after that Pot 3 will come with two teams allocated in each group. Finally the Pot 2 will complete the three groups.
Pot 1: Poland (hosts, position 1 in Group A), Germany, Portugal
Pot 2: England, Spain, Denmark
Pot 3: Italy, Sweden (holders), Czech Republic, Serbia, Slovakia, Macedonia
This combination means that Macedonia can be drawn with anyone.
