Kanatlarovski opted to start with David Denkovski; Adrian Hajdari, Jovan Manev, Mario Mladenovski, Filip Antovski, Besnik Ferati, Ali Adem, Arbi Vosha, Luka Trajkoski, Amel Rustemovski and captain Marko Gjorgjievski.
After just 7 minutes the young Lynx conceded a scrappy goal from a corner kick after a poor defending.
The first attempt toward the hosts goal came in the 24th minute when Luka Trajkoski fired a shot, but Bjarti Mørk made a good save. Twelve minutes later Filip Antovski hit the crossbar after a great shot.
On half-time Kanatlarovski made two changes with Dimitar Todorovski and Metodi Maksimov coming on for Ferati and Trajkoski.
Ten minutes after the Marko Gjorgjievski equalized after a lovely bit of skill to create the angle to shoot.
In the 70th minute Kanatlarovski fielded Luka Stankovski and David Toshevski instead of Rustemovski and Hajdari. It is unbelievable how a player of the Stankovski caliber sits on the bench under this coach.
Five minutes later Gjorgjievski score his second only to be ruled out for offside.
A performance that fits well with the senior team, all the possession but little to show for it. Real lack of quality. Hard to see us not winning that with Elezi, Fazlagikj, Bozhinovski and Cholakovski but this squad should of done enough to win.
In the other match in our group Serbia celebrated away to Armenia 4:1. France welcomes Ukraine tomorrow.
