U19 squad for EURO qualifiers announced

Macedonian U19 national team this month will take part of the opening phase of the qualifiers for the 2022 UEFA U19 EURO.

Macedonia is in the Group 7 with France, Serbia and Albania and will face a hard task to advance in the Elite phase.

Coach Dashmir Beari summoned 22 players and faced several problems with his squad list. Winger Berat Kalkan of Turkish Kasımpaşa has still his paperwork stuck in the Macedonian Agency for sport & youth so he cannot play for Macedonia. Defensive midfield Andrej Stojchevski of Akademija Pandev is out with a hand injury.

Swedish born Jankulovski is also doubtful as he awaits Macedonian citizenship. So far he played on friendlies because citizenship is not required for youth friendlies. Taseski is also under question as FFM is waitinh for his German club to release him for these matches.

It is unknown for what reasons coach Beari did not summon forward Filip Trpchevski of Swedish side Häcken.
