Coach Toni Jakimoski summoned 21 players for this tournament. The fact that the footballer Lorik Mukhtari of the German 5th division club Eichhede is on the list is surprising, considering that the U19 team of this club competes in the German youth regional league with inadequate quality for a national team call-up. On the other hand, we must point out that Valon Aliji of German Union Berlin is not on the list due to injury while Andrija Dimeski of Serbian side Voždovac would not be able to represent Macedonia at this tournament due to the inability of the Macedonian authorities to provide him with the necessary documents in a timely manner.
