The young players of Brera Strumica managed to celebrate over Vardar in Skopje, while Rabotnichki kept winning to remain the only threat for the leader.

Third-placed Vardar hosted table toper Brera Strumica in the derby of the 17th round in the Macedonian youth Super League. The visitors were the better team and never let the hosts think of three points. The controlled the match and before the break broke the dead lock, while in the opening 15 minutes of the second half sealed the win.

With this win Brera Strumica practically knocked Vardar out of the title race as noew the difference between the two is 7 points.

Holder Rabotnichki remain the lone threat to the leader as they are just a point away, but keep in mind that Brera is yet to play their postponed match from the 16th round, scheduled for 11 March against Tikvesh in Kavadarci.

Round 19 will be decisive for the title as Rabotnichki will host Brera Strumica in Skopje.
