Montenegro won the first of the two friendly matches despite the young Macedonians being the better opponent.

Macedonian U19 national team got defeated at home by their Montenegrin counterparts with a lone goal scored ten minutes before the break. A bad reaction in the back line caused Stanikj’s team to concede and later never managed to find an equalizer. Nikočević sent a cross from the left and Vukčević headed into Alchevski’s net.
The Lynx had few scoring opportunities, but their shots each time where going wide. Probably the best chance was Tasevski’s crossbar some fifteen minute before time.
