Macedonia closed the qualifiers with a 2:0 win over first placed England thanks to a bicycle kick goal by Jani Atanasov and a stoppage time goal by Dimitar Mitrovski.

After the disappointing defeats by Latvia and Hungary that saw Macedonia eliminated, the boys did their best in the final game against the already qualified English team.
Not just that the young Lynx won with a clean sheet, but even took the lead with a beautiful bicycle kick goal. Only the third minute was underway when Todor Todoroski sent a long ball into the box where Jani Atanatov without hesitating went on to kick the ball with a bicycle kick. It was so precise that the English keeper stood no chance.
It was a shock for the visitors who started attacking in order to turn the result around, but failed to even equalize.
The final score was set in the injury time. Darko Churlinov dribbled on the left side, passed to Mihail Manevski who perfectly found Dimitar Mitrovski in the box.
