Macedonia twice managed to equalize for a final draw in the first friendly game against Cyprus.
The first of the two road friendly against the U19 national team of Cyprus ended in a 2:2 draw. It was the hosts who broke the deadlock as Michali Papakonstantinou scored after just 8 minutes of play. Macedonia equalized with a beautiful free kick goal by Alban Sulejmani in the 23rd minute.
After the break Cyprus took the lead again, this time Papakonstantinou assisted for Michali Matthaiou. Macedonia managed to equalize once again as Davor Zdravkovski found the back of the home net near the end on the game.
Both teams will face again on Thursday at 16.00 CET at the same venue.
