U18 friendly: Hungary – Macedonia 2:1

Macedonian U18 national team suffered a 2:1 defeat in the first friendly match against Hungary.

The young Macedonians lost 2:1 to their Hungarian counterparts in the first of the two planned friendly matches between the two teams. Hungary opened the scoreline through Fehér in the 12th minute, while Macedonia leveled with debutant Mejdi’s goal in the 31st minute. However, Hungary scored the winning goal courtesy of Hursán in the 74th minute.

‘I am not satisfied with the play of some of the players. They got a chance to show their qualities but at least for this match, they did not used it. I hope they will take matters more seriously in the second match and prove they can play better’ said manager Jeton Nesimi after the match.
