Macedonia U17 suffered the third defeat in three friendly matches in Umag.
After the two identical 2:0 defeats to Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, Macedonia now suffered another defeat in the UEFA development tournament in Umag, Croatia. In the last match Montenegro celebrated a 4:3 win in an exciting match.
Macedonia took the lead first when Mirchevski opened the scoreline in 4th minute. However, it was all about Montenegro from that point. Camaj equalized 2 minutes later, while in 23rd minute Montenegro was leading 2:1. Until half-time, the result was 4:1 in favor of Montenegro.
Macedonia managed to pull two back in the second half, but did suffered another defeat. Metalurg’s Digalovski lowered the lead in 56th minute, while Aslani from Rinija made it 4:3 in the 60th minute, but Montenegro managed to keep their concentration and eventually won 4:3.
