After defeating Saudi Arabia and Georgia with the same results of 2:0, the young Lynx today faced Azerbaijan in the closing round. After only three minutes of play Elezi broke the dead lock bringing Macedonia the lead, while Berovikj doubled the lead in the 43rd minute. Until the final whistle the Azeri team managed to get back in game, but failed to add an equalized.
With three wins out of three matches, the players of head coach Goran Stankovski topped the group of this international friendly tournament. In the other match played today, Georgia defeated Saudi Arabia with 3:1.
