Our U17 national team finished last at the EURO qualifiers second consecutive year.
photo by MFA/Stephen Gatt: moment of Macedonia – Malta
Last year, the team led by Vujadin Stanojković finished last with three defeats and zero points won, while this generation of footballers led by Dashmir Beari suffered two heavy defeats against Slovakia and Spain and drew against outsiders Malta which was enough for last place in the table and elimination from further competition. The FFM must seriously deal with this problem, because if it continues in the same direction, the future of Macedonian football is in danger.
Spain and Slovakia advanced from this group to the Elite Round of qualifiers.
