The Macedonian U17 national team suffered a heavy defeat against their Belgian counterparts to officially be eliminated.
Following the initial 2:3 defeat to Poland, Macedonia U17’s second match was against favorites Belgium. The ‘visitors’ did not allow any kind of surprise and celebrated a convincing 5:0 win.
Weymans opened the scoreline in 20th minute and just 6 minutes later Bocevski scored an own goal, doubling Belgium’s lead. 2:0 was the half-time score and it seemed obvious that Macedonia will not be able to get anything out of the game. In the second 40 minutes, Belgium added three more goals for a crushing win and eliminating Macedonia in the first phase.Â

The final round is played in two days and Macedonia will face Bulgaria for avoiding the last place, while Belgium and Poland will determine the group winner.
