The supporters group “Lozari” and the football legends of Kavadarci organized a friendly match in memory of Vuko Karov.

The once well known and likely Macedonia’s most prestigious friendly tournament “Vuko Karov” will be held this Sunday, but it will unusually be held at the city square in Kavadarci, starting at 11:55. Unlike some better footballing days in the past, this year will see a symbolic match between the football legends of Kavadarci and the supporters group “Lozari.” They are the actual organizers of the tournament as well.

Although Tikvesh isn’t currently active after being expelled from the Third League South, the aim of the organizers is to prolong the tradition of the tournament and to once again show respect to the man who contributed so much to their club. The beginning of the match and the first ball will be played by Toshe Karov, nephew of Vuko Karov.
