The Football Federation of Macedonia decided to accept the request by the Macedonian Ministry of Internal Affairs to postponed all the matches of the Round 17 that were scheduled for Sunday.
Due to the recent event that happened in Macedonia when of 29 November a group of Albanian hooligans burned the Macedonian flag and the police made several arrests, the Ministry of Internal Affairs in order to prevent escalation of ethnic conflict advised FFM to move the matches for Tuesday. That day at 13.00 CET most of the people are at work or at school and won’t be able to make it to the matches.
“The decision was made in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs due to recent developments and events and to prevent any kind of violence and misconduct at sports competitions.” – said FFM.
