Tikvesh wins the historic 32nd edition of the Cup of Macedonia after defeating Voska Sport at the National Arena Todor Proeski in Skopje.

This was a historic match for the Macedonian football, not just that both teams played in the Macedonian Cup final for the first time in their history, but this was the first match involving domestic clubs that used VAR.
After the opening calm minutes of the match with slight dominance by Tikvesh, the first real chance for the team from Kavadarci happened in the 31st minute when Ediz Spahiu sent a shot from 17 meters but the ball hit the bar over Voska’s goalkeeper Kostadin Zahov. Few minutes later Robertinho received a ball in the box, but he missed the goal.
The key moment in the first half happened in the 41st minute when Kristijan Stojkoski took a free kick and managed to beat Zahov with a fantastic shot.
The goalkeeper of Tikvesh, Arian Rener had his first intervention in the second additional minute of the first half when Valentin Kochoski sent a nice long shot from free kick, but the Slovenian keeper blocked the ball.
Voska’s coach Srgjan Zaharievski made three changes in his squad during the half time break but this decision didn’t have impact on the pitch as his team failed to improve their play. The players of Tikvesh led by coach Gjorgji Mojsov successfully continued to control the match and threaten on Voska’s goal.
In the 59th minute after a corner kick from the left side, the ball came to Robertinho who tried to head the ball in the goal, but after Zahov blocked the ball, Luan Santos Silva placed it in the goal for 2:0.
Zaharievski replaced another two players and Voska finally made the match interesting when in the 77th minute after a cross from the left side, goalkeeper Rener made a mistake and the ball came to Nikolche Sharkoski who easily scored from close range for 2:1.
The team from Ohrid had a big chance to equalize in the 92nd minute when 1.MFL top goalscorer Aleksa Maručić headed the ball, but this time keeper Rener managed to defend his goal and the ball hit the post for a celebration for Tikvesh who won the 32nd Macedonian Cup.
