The Third League East started this weekend with Tiverija leading the way with a 9:0 win against Karbinci.
It will be an interesting season in the Third League East with few teams having promotion ambitions. Osogovo, who was relegated from the Second League, is the biggest favorite to win the league. They have yet to play their first game which is scheduled for Wednesday. Other promotion contenders are Tiverija, who started furiously with a 9:0 victory against Karbinci, Astibo and Belasica. Bregalnica Delchevo, last season’s winner of the league that was not awarded promotion due to fielsing ineligible player, was supposed to participate in the Third League East once again this season but decided to quit. Meanwhile, the three promoted teams into the league are Sloga 1934, AGROS and 1-vi Maj, while Trkanja was added as a late substitute for Bregalnica Delchevo.
