After conducting the last training earlier in the morning, the national team has left Ohrid and arrived in Prilep where the friendly against Albania will take place.
Ivan Trickovski has officially been ruled out with an injury so that means that four regulars will miss the friendly scheduled for tomorrow. The other injured players include Goran Pandev, Goran Popov, and Nikolce Noveski. With the injuries, Ferhan Hasani will stay with the senior national team and play in the Albania friendly. The original plan was for Hasani to join the U21 team for the important qualifier against Denmark, also scheduled for tomorrow, but the injuries will force him to remain on the senior national team.
The Macedonian national team now consists of 20 players after the four withdrawn players:
Goalkeepers: Martin Bogatinov, Tome Pacovski, Edin Nuredinoski
Defenders: Vance Sikov, Daniel Mojsov, Aleksandar Todorovski, Vladimir Dimitrovski, Daniel Georgievski, Aleksandar Lazevski, Vlade Lazarevski
Midfielders: Velice Sumulikoski, Muhamed Demiri, Mario Gjurovski, Agim Ibraimi, Filip Despotovski, Nikola Gligorov
Attackers: Ilco Naumoski, Mirko Ivanovski, Bajram Fetai, Ferhan Hasani
These two national teams also played a November friendly last year. That match was played in Albania on 17 November 2010 and it ended 0:0. As for the upcoming friendly tomorrow, the referees will be from Slovenia and the match will be televised on MTV with the game starting at 13:00 CET.
