Teteks eliminated Sileks, while Shkendija once again played a draw with Vardar and advanced due to the away goals rule.
The Macedonian Cup semi-final return legs were played today.
The battle between the last two placed clubs in the First League ended with another win for Teteks. After the 1:0 away win in Kratovo, Teteks one more time beat Sileks. After a goalless first half, Miroslav Jovanovski opened the score 15 minutes from time and practicaly ended Sileks’ dreams for a final. Than in the 84th minute Teteks were awarded a penalty after a visiting player played with hand in the Box. Bobi Bozhinovski successfuly converted the penalty for a final score of 2:0.
Vardar was a small favourite in the clash with Shkendija especially after the goalless draw in the first game in Tetovo. But, Shkendija managed to score first in Skopje and eliminate Vardar. It was Eljmedin Redjepi who with a beautiful shot from outside the box brought Shkendija the lead in the 81st minute. Vardar had a hard mission in the last moment of the game to score two goals. They managed to score one, through Filip Petrov’s header in the 90th minute, but that was all Vardar did in this game. It’s worth to mention that both teams played a great match with attacking football and many chances. Vardar twice hit the bar, while Shkendija once hit the post.

The Cup final will be played on 22 May at the National Arena Philip II of Macedon in Skopje. For the first time in the Macedonian Cup history, Teteks and Shkendija will face one another in the grand final. Practically, it will be a Derby of Tetovo, but outside the city of Tetovo.
