After reviewing the performances of Macedonian football players over the month of October, we put a list of the best starting 11 during that span.
We compiled stats such as games played, goals, assists and clean sheets to determine which players deserved to be on the team.
Although a bit later then usually, we have chosen the team of the month for October. Once again we went with 4-2-3-1 formation.
Tome Pachovski
The goalkeeper had a solid month in October, did not made any major mistakes, kept a clean sheet for Macedonia in the match against Serbia and is our first choice.
Daniel Georgievski
The right back has featured in 6 matches in October, 2 for Steaua in domestic championship, 2 in Europa League and 2 for Macedonia – only lost once, made one assist and actually played whole 90 minutes on every match.
Aleksandar Lazevski
Three full matches and three wins in Serbian best league, good match against Serbia with Macedonian national team – got the nod over Popov who still hasn’t proven himself in EPL.
Bojan Markoski
Scored one goal in October, played 3 full matches in which his team won twice and got a call for the national team.
Nikolche Noveski
The experienced center back has also scored one goal during October, noted two wins in Bundesliga without conceded goal and one draw and will partner Markoski in our selection for October.
Artim Polozhani
Polozhani is our first of two players from domestic championship. The midfielder has noted three wins and one draw with Shkendija, scored one goal, assisted once and was key member of Shkendija during October.
Slavcho Georgievski
Noted 3 wins and one draw with Inter in Azerbaijan and his team got to the first place on the table.
Agim Ibraimi
Scored twice for Macedonia, against Croatia and the winning goal against Serbia, plus showed good performances in Europa League and is our easy choice for right wing.
Aleksandar Trajkovski
Featured in 4 matches for Zulte Waregem, getting to three wins and second place on the table in Belgium. He has gotten the nod over Trichkovski and Hasani for left wing.
Dejan Blazhevski
Horizont Turnovo’s key player in the domestic championship – Dejan Blazhevski gets the offensive midfielder position for October. He has scored two goals, made one assist and is one of the very best players in Macedonian First League.
Goran Pandev
Although Pandev is not the typical center forward, we have decided to assign him to this position for October. He has scored one goal in October, noted two wins and two defeats with Napoli and gets the advantage over Jahovikj and Ivanovski who did not score during October, as well as Kirovski and Ristikj who did not got much playing time.
