While being on trial at Finish side Lahti, keeper Davor Taleski featured on a friendly against rivals Honka. Since he failed to agree on terms with the Black Drones, Taleski was immediately contacted by Honka who were left impressed by his saves on that friendly against them in January.

He trained with Honka the past days and on Tuesday eventually signed a contract. Honka last season competed in the Finish second league and after finishing second got promoted through the play-offs.

Taleski joins Damjan Shishkovski who signed for Lahti after the first did not agree terms. A Prilep native, he started his career at 11 Oktomvri, later played for Metalurg and Brelagnica, while since the summer of 2016 he was the first choice keeper of Pobeda.

Season 2018 in Finland starts in April and the Macedonian keepers will face each other in the second round on the 15th.
